Llwybr Llaethog – Mewn Dyb (ROIR)

Dub/electronica/dance from Wales. Very few spoken bits are in English. Interesting merging of sounds, definitely worth a listen. Almost sound collage in places.
No FCCs, all tracks are excellent – 4 is highly topical although 10 years old.
1. 5:46 soft electronic intro, downtempo swooshy reggae beat, random spoken vocals in English. Goes very quiet for a bit in middle. Trance-y.
2. 4:46 clangy arpeggios, somewhat downtempo reggae beat, mostly minimalist and a bit spacey, but some cool noises, no vocals.
3. 4:59 brief spoken intro, then midtempo dub in forceful rock (not reggae) beat. Some spoken bits and what sounds like autoharp.
4. 5:47 very short spoken intro, then slightly uptempo dub in rock beat with sounds of war, bits of middle eastern music, repeated “all-out war” and “allahu”…
5. 7:30 uptempo dub, reggae beat, lots of random noises, repeated “ok boys”, beat gets hyperactive in second half of song.
6. 7:38 very uptempo dance beat with lots of odd noises, sustained keyboard chords.
7. 5:57 downtempo bouncy reggae with hard rock guitar bits and lots of random sounds.
8. 4:24 electronic squonking intro, midtempo dance beat, fun noise.
