German death metal with a bunch of songs dedicated to the Polish partisans in Warsaw 1944. Sounds like a better version of all the Swedish “melo-death” that’s increasingly popular. This is much heavier and filled with more than a few strong riffs.
((((1)))) Powerful riffs, shifts from mid-paced to bursts of death metal speed.
(((2))) Fast & verrry heavy but kinda typical.
((((3)))) Really catchy, thick sound with dense breakdowns.
(((4))) Tough sounding metalcore with touches of DM. Generally kinda bland.
(((5))) Fast, melodic and charging DM. Not too different from early In Flames.
((6)) Really dull & uninspired. So much so you’re almost expect an “emo” part.
(((7))) Mid-paced and steady. Drags on too long, though.
(((8))) Standard modern death metal with some pretty nice riffs.
((((9)))) Fast to steady amount of thrashing & hammering ‘ala Amon Amarth.
(((10))) Some OK riffs & a good semi-thrash moment. On the downside: very similar to previous tracks but with a but of a “gang chorus”
((11) Speaking of “gang choruses” that’s essentially all this is – with some slowish metal riffs.
