Pleasant Euro/gypsy music... like Tin Hat Trio, it kind of qualifies as jazz, but then again seems like a different category. (Unlike Tin Hat, Zorn wins the "coin flip" decision to be filed in jazz ... or loses, which ever you prefer...)
No Naked City aggression or new-classical spookiness here; this is pretty soundtrack music, evoking quaint cafe sidewalks in peaceful tones. Enough space for soloing that it gets that "jazz" consideration.
