(Note: Band is pronounced: Tay-da -CD is pronounced: In-yay A-moor-oak). An Irish quintet playing fabulously fresh, traditional instrumental Celtic dances. Expertly played with style, flair and respect for the material combined with a youthful exuberance & cosmopolitan sophistication. You can play any of it, it’s all so good.
1. Impossibly catchy, toe-tapping, upbeat reels. Exhausting!
2. Set of jigs. Mid, flute-driven, really pretty & light.
3. March/reel set with an old-timey air. Mostly mid/up at end.
4. 2 polkas, first mid & courtly then fast, lively w/great flute.
5. A slow jig. Lovely, melodic, nostalgic.
6. Set of jigs. Mid, then picks up. Sweet & easy going.
7. Hornpipes. Midtempo, the second one w/nice use of guitar.
8. Reels. Increasingly lively set w/expert playing throughout.
9. Slow, gently romantic dance then a mid polka & a lively slide. Yay
10. Banjo adds a bluegrass air. Mid/up set of jigs. Bright & fun.
11. Driving reels with a “can’t sit still” sense of catchiness.
