Xperimentl/classical. Strange combination of altered voices and an Atari 800XL. Songs are clearly influenced by more standard classical forms, but sound a bit alien due to the voice altering, dissonance, and teh Atari. FCC clean. Picks 3,6,1,7.
**1-2:09) A recitative sung through a talk-box with slight modulations. Good.
2-4:43) A few harsh elec. tones that waver and buzz around each other. Fadeout.
**3-5:15) Recitative with dubbed, affected, voices in background.
4-3:12) Screwed male vox and fem vox in call and response. They're seeing about fake statistics!?!? Funny, bloopy electronics. Ends quiet.
*5-12:01) A trio of altered voices singing in polyphony. Alto enters midway. Ends on full chord.
**6-6:32) Full orchestration. Elec. slightly mroe advanced sounding than 8-bit. Driving, repeating rhythmic figure but the harmonies and voicings slowly evolve like an extended computer-game Bach Prelude. Sudden ending.
**7-2:20) Powerful wind noises. -1:05 airy, fem vox echoes in background faintly. Ends on low cello tone that emerges from swirling winds.
8-14:51) Recitative to arpeggioed crude electronic accompaniment like a harpsichord. Also periods of vocal polyphony. Ends solo vox and elec. acc.
9-3:44) Queasy difficult electronic sounds. Sudden end.
10-4:26) Another tense, unhappy electronic composition.
11-3:16) Many voices. Think Scelsi almost. An easier listen tho.
