Compilation of various styles, mostly rock but with lots of variety. Eclectic mix of artists who've performed at Danger Danger, a West Philadelphia DIY venue. These tracks come from a nine-hour, 19-artist marathon. A little something here for everyone.
*FCC* trouble on: 4,7,18
1- Indie pop, midtempo, a bit sad but reasonably rocking.
2- Electronics: a burning rumble of gray noise.
3- Pop. Morose vocals over thick bass. Sparse.
4- *FCC* all over. Angry punk/metal: fast, then burning mid/fast
5- Country: catchy, mid/fast, old fashioned. Nice harmony vocal.
6- Fast and bashing rock, with delicate female vocs. Cool.
7- *FCC* "fucking" 4+ times... A bit jazzy, with tough female vocals at the start and end
8- Tough-handed rock, almost punk. Fuzzed-out vox, hard to understand
9- Rock: Strong guitar intro, hazy male vocs. Awkward lyrics.
10- Hard-edged rock instrumental, fairly fast,
11- Falsetto screech, echoey '60s surf/biker guitar
12- Mid/fast rock, driving pulse,
13- Punk. Explosive, fast.
14- Rock in a dark mood. Gets hard & loud w/some metal influence
15- Girl rawk, slow, fuzzed-out, w/electronics embellishments
16- Prog instrumental: mellow rolling, heats up later.
17- Gloopy synth bounce, fuzzed-out vocals. Sparse pop w/attitude.
18- *FCC* - Faux Barry White: Spoken word over hip/ironic beats. Amusing (presumably on purpose)
19- Funny. Aggressive acoustic song. "Don't put them in your mouth!"
