Conventional jazz guitar, backed by two stalwarts of the ECM label: Gary Peacock (bass) and Paul Motian (drums). Like an ECM record, lots of cool-handed intensity, w/drums and cymbals slapping, but a somehow delicate air. Improvisations get "out there" in a soft, non-skronky way.

- Mid/fast; aggressive w/soft touch
- Floaty, slowish
- Mid/fast. Tumbling but reasonably catchy theme.
- Oud. Lightly scrambly, fairly fast.
- Oud. "World" feel, a midtempo pulse w/ fast solo intro.
- Dark, almost Spanish guitar feel
- Almost country intro in the bass. High, sparkly guitar solo
- Slow shuffle, ballad feel.
- Fairly fast-paced, cool hipness
- Oud, w/slow intro into a nice marching beat
- Midtempo, ECM wandering; builds a cool intensity
- Calmly mid/fast, active. w/bass solo.
- Scattery, fairly fast
- Quiet, spare
