Christian, Gospel CD. FCC Clean. This is Annilia's first release and it's pretty good. Historically, Annilia has performed background vocals for artists such as Tonéx, Angela Spivey, Trin-i-tee; a mix of gospel artists and gospel R&B artists. The album is a mix of gospel sounds and gospel R&B. I think she shows up the most on the R&B sounds; all of her songs have scripture!

1. Up-beat praise song with somewhat of an African syncopation. It's a happy song, welcoming the presence of the Lord--like the first song a praise team would sing to begin church service.
*2. Medium R&B Funky groove. Vocals about God's love and how He helps us to press forward.
3. Slow R&B. Song about looking for Jesus in uncertainty; for direction.
*4. Slow, smooth R&B; Based on Psalm 91: About taking refuge in God during difficult times.
5. Medium Gospel; Bass guitar with drums church sound a la Vickie Winans; Turn to Jesus when everything else fails.
6. Slow Gospel; Bass, drums, organ church sound. I surrender my will to God's will.
*7. Medium-slow R&B groove; God encourages us to encourage ourselves, esp. during times when we've tried everything else.
*8. Slow Ballad; Just Piano & Vocals. Nice song about how you cannot live without the Lord. Good song for rededication.
9. Medium, R&B groove; About the falling of the Holy Spirit on the disciples and on people of God.
*10. Slow/Medium R&B jazzy sound; Title track-Encouraging song about moving forward with faith in God and not giving up.
