From Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Greece and beyond comes this collection of hip-shaking bellydance music. You know what bellydance sounds like and this is some of the coolest. Catchy, energetic, and totally fun. Unleash your inner Shalimar. Given that it’s a Rough Guide, it’s all good, especially:
1. Starts slow, gets into a sweet upbeat sound.
3. Cool percussion right from the start, completely catchy.
4. Starts slow, get midtempo. A classic sound.
5. Midtempo w/cool perc/vocal duet/flute. Very nice.
6. Hip, upbeat tabla solo. Yow!
8. Upbeat classic bellydance folk w/fem vox.
12. Slow start, then an upbeat track w/lots of cool changes.
15. Tabla intro to mid/upbeat orchestral track.
17. Crazy good upbeat tabla solo.
