Classical-minded improvisations duets of piano and violin/viola, quite serious in mood. Melford (piano, harmonium) and Kalmanovitch (strings) both play in jazz settings normally, so this is an interesting side experiment for them. Both are into Indian music -- hence some of the titles -- but that's not the dominant influence here.

- Medium tempo, an exploratory little jumble
- Delicate, dissonant; builds a strong mood
- Slow
- Perky avant-classical, high strung
- Dramatic swirlings, fast.
- Quiet, groany
- Mid/fast
- Nervous peckings; fast flow later
- Gentle, slow
- Fast, stern; very Russian sounding. Nice pounding piano.
- Calmly mid/fast, romantic
- Mid/fast, dramatic violin
- Violin soloing over droney tones (harmonium)
- A nice little tangle
- Fairly quiet (prepared piano)
- Grumbly
- Quite, sparse
- Slow
- Slow harplike fluttering. Quite the classical feel.
