Cool music for a great cause. Proceeds benefit an orphanage in Tanzania and the kids of the home feature prominently in this CD of African music. The children’s choir is very much a kid’s choir, don’t expect perfect harmonies/performances….but they’re danged cute – and I don’t even like kids.
*1. Upbeat call/response children’s choir w/drums. Then programming.
*2. Upbeat African pop w/a swinging groove & jazzy breaks.
*3. A capella gospel w/cool harmonies from a male chorus. Midtempo.
4. Upbeat, bouncy. Sounds like the kids are having fun.
5. Upbeat w/cool melody and the kids going for it.
6. Traditional a capella track. Midtempo, well performed.
*7. A big chorus sound w/perc. Mostly midtempo.
8. Midtempo. Those kids are so cute.
*9. Blues harp intro into cool, lazy gospelish track in English.
*10. Mostly midtempo w/strong harmonies & light perc.
11. Relaxed choral track w/call/response vocals.
12. Big orchestration into a relaxed, bluesy track in English.
*13. Midtempo English pop. Very catchy. Good vocals.
14. There go those kids again. A capella intro then a pop backing.
