Bay Area Thrash Metal “all star” band featuring both vocalists of Legacy/Testament – Chuck Billy, Steve “Zetro” Souza along with Chuck’s brother (who did time in Vio-lence) and Willy Lange from Laaz Rockit. The results are pretty good but don’t expect to be blown away by a “thrash attack”. The Dublin in the name refers to the town next to Pleasanton. Basicially a freeway exit filled with strip malls, car dealerships and movie theaters.
(((1))) Sample (of the first Legacy demo?) then goes into a charging, galloping riff and some pretty cool dual vocals of Chuck & Zetro.
((((2)))) Very much Exodus-like battering thrash with a good, catchy chorus.
(((3))) Sluggish, typical mid-paced thrash with spotty vocals but gets better towards the end
(4) Ugh! White Zombie-ish slow, chorus based “ready for airplay” junk.
(5) Simple modern riff with a “bro-core” feeling (think Pantera and Machine Head at their absolute worst).
((6)) Clunky, sorta rockin’ metal number with mostly lame vocals.
(((7))) Passable Motorhead cover. 2nd most covered ‘head cover next to “Ace of Space”. Why doesn’t anyone do “Snaggletooth”?
((8)) Weak Thin Lizzy cover mostly ruined by the vocals. That said, few bands can cover Lizzy and do it right.
((9)) Really weak UFO cover. Also very much ruined by the vocals.
(((10))) A really good riff but the vocals are again really iffy at best.
((11)) Half ballad and half regular metal song. Not the worst thing ever but drags on waay too long.
((12)) Slow Testament-like song really dull and lacking personality. Later turns into a Pomo Indian songs which are pretty interesting (albeit not mixed or transitioned well).
