(sometimes) LOCAL. Seafaring, sometimes gang-vocalled modern folk songs from this Oakland/ Alaska group. The main songwriter and some of the rest of the band spends his summers working in the fishing industry in Alaska, so seafaring themes aren't uncommon. There's a medium-to-lo-fi aesthetic. The point of comparison I hear most clearly is Hayden. This is a collection of previous (and out-of-print) EPs.

1. I love this song. Wild gang vocals over darkish guitar and simple percussion.
2. FCC ("fuck" with 0:27 remaining) mid-tempo, back-beat strummed guitar. doubled vocals.
3. med-slow. guitar with a light background drum kit.
4. med-slow. picked and strummed guitars with shakers. f lead vox.
5. med-slow. guitar and vocals, drums later. nice main riff and chorus.
6. slow. starts with random percussion. minor guitar and gang vocals, clapping and whistling.
7. med-slow. banjo and guitar. far-off gang vocals.
8. slow. strummed guitar and gang vocals.
9. med-slow. strummed guitars, light snare drum, vocals.
10. med-slow. soft guitar. strained vocals. gang vocals later on.
11. mid-tempo. nice song with just guitar and vocals till drums come in about 2/3 the way through.
12. version of 1 that is med-slow and subdued.
