Pretty interesting collection of Japanese psych and not so psych jazzy, folk and other jams. Despite the occasional dud this is worth your time.
((((1)))) Interesting mix of meandering, chaos vs. structured, wailing guitar, female vox, free jazzy sax.
((((2)))) Mellow, drifty somewhat jazzy with trombone, xylophone. Gets more prog/jazz near the end. Like an ‘indie rock Soft Machine’?
3) Lo-fi strumming, random vox, not very psych and not worth listening to.
(((4))) 60’s style drony experimentalism, kinda like Xenakis’ “The Pleiades”.
(((((5))))) Way blown out, assaultive & heavy psych. Super distorted in the “very Japanese” way (see K. Heino, Les Rallizes DeNudes)
6) Artsy noodling going nowhere
7) Guitar tweakage and a garbage level garage rawk mess.
8) Lameness with shouted lead vox and lazy backing vox.
((((9)))) Slow, “melt-down” psych slinky-ness, pretty good minus the warbly vocals.
(((10))) Strummy, folky, lo-fi with squaky sax bits. Pretty nice.
(((((11)))) Wild, noisy, loose, bassy, punk psych rawk.
((((12)))) Pretty mellow folk with female vox. Sounds like it should be in a movie.
