Easy listening, jazzy, sample based hip hop instrumentals, occasional guest rappers. I would avoid most of the second half of the CD which tends towards samba samples. FCC unclean.
Picks - 1,4,6,8,9
*1-2:25) Mid/fast jazzy, groovy beat. Midway gets smoother sounding.
2-2:55) Mid/fast boom bap. Rapping. Upbeat, happpy feel.
3-3:58) Slow sparse funky feel. Almost Carla Bley sound.
*4-2:36) Mid/slow saccharine perky 60s pop sample, and foreign vocal sample. Cute.
5-2:33) Slow draggy beat. Organ. Rapping. FCC "fuck, shit"
*6-2:34) Mid. Horror movie sndtrk. Cute kitschy samples. FCC "shit". What is that horn sample at the end?!?! Lemme know!
7-3:13) Downtempo. Slow waltz, flute & trumpet Morricone style. A slow waltz beat. Less of a beat and more sample art. Ends quiet.
*8-2:55) Straight up funky break. Adds horn stabs. Organ solo. Funky.
*9-3:19) High energy. Mid. 60s psych/funk from Latin America sampled? Brisk tru-skool rapping.
10-3:31) Starts with polite jazz club applause then jazz guitar. Slow jazzy noodling. -2:20 quiet jazzy beat enters. EH.
11-3:19) Starts quiet with elec. guitar strums. Sunny samba beat enters. EH.
12-3:20) 80s funky. Happy, carefree beat and rapping. Tru skool rapping. FCC "fuck". Fadeout.
13-2:40) More sunny, corny 60s Brazilian samba samples.
14-2:06) Slow, lounge jazzy samples. EH.
15-3:21) Mid. slow rapping. Eh.
16-3:24) Slow, slinky lounge samples. EH. Ends with rain falling.
