Bambu -- …I Scream Bars for the Children… Reviewed by Witz
Socially conscious hip-hop. You can add Bambu to the list of growing rappers exhibiting the same socially conscious laid back vibe of the Northwest Coast. With melodic and intricate beats and a smooth lyrical voice just ever so slightly accented, LA/SF’s Bambu fits in with both rising acts like Blue Scholars and Zion I, and with widely successful acts like Tupac and Atmosphere. Rapping about national issues, the future, mainstream music, money, happiness, and depression, Bambu is a voice that will be heard.
FCC: 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 16, 19, 20, 21 – Listen before play – best suited for safe harbor
