Melodic death metal from the cartoon band sensation on TV’s Adult Swim. Consider this a metal version of Gorillaz. Features co-creator Brendon Small on vocals, guitars & bass and Gene Holgan (Strapping Young Lad, Dark Angel) on drums. Fun and silly but the minuses are that it runs a little too long & sometimes works best with the images. Addable for the few really good songs.

((1)) Amusing but annoying as fuck, way too reliant on repetition and pinch harmonics.

((((3)))) Charging melodic DM ‘ala Amon Amarth (though a few kilos lighter) with a simple, catchy chorus.

(((5))) Slow chugging DM with a decent, catchy main riff.
((6)) So-so riffing and dangerously bordering on nu-metal.
(((7))) Melodic Black-ish Metal – lots of tremolo riffs and keyboard accents into dodgy breakdowns.
(((8))) Not surprisingly, like a slow Amon Amarth. OK for what it is.
(((9))) Fast, excessively melodic DM, like a tolerable Children of Bodom.
(((10))) Speedy to midpaced to speedy again. Basic, fun, rudimentary melo-death.
((((11)))) (FCC “FUCKING” sung twice) Silly as hell but actually kinda brutal, aggressive with wailing guitars.
((12)) Good riff then goes into this Cannibal Corpse + Judas Priest x Megadeth = confusion thing.

(((15))) Slightly eerie classical intro, into a thematic, kinda Cradle of Filth-vibe. Pretty cool.
