What you’d expect from the name. Wicked hot salsa dura (“hard” salsa), with heaps of Puerto Rican spice and tons of New York grit. Slick, sweaty, and sharp. Hot percussion, tight brass, warm vocals, and Gorbea on piano with style for days. I liked it all.
1. Upbeat and instantly catchy w/the percussion taking the lead.
2. Mid/upbeat piano w/trumpet playing tag. Swinging, swaying.
3. Midtempo funk salsa ode to Puerto Rico. Great vocals/perc/piano.
4. Midtempo swing w/sweet piano/horns/vox blend. I wanna dance.
5. Mid/upbeat jam w/emotional vox, tight perc/horns/chorus.
6. Catchy upbeat wiggle w/a happy Afro/Carribbean feel.
7. Mid/up w/engaging vocals, a sweet melody, catchy beat.
8. Mi/upbeat horn showcase w/great perc & vocals too. Fun!
9. Sexy upbeat rumba w/jazzy piano & slammin’ horns.
