Gently experimental free folk/rock that encorporates electronics. To my ear leans heavily on harmonies of Beach Boys and Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Tracks 5-6 are more experimental. Track 7-10 are other bands covering their songs. FCC clean. Picks - 3,1,6,10,2,7
*1-5:13)Slow. Crashing chorus with electronic crunch. Crosby, S. & N. harmony. last minute, horns, flutes, dies out.
2-4:21) Quiet, slow Beach Boys beat. Builds to a slow echoey hook.
*3-6:30) Shuffly beat that is catchy. Tight, slightly unusual harmonies. Promiment guitar+drum riffs dotting the landscape.
4-3:31) Melancholy. Clarinet, piano and lots of harmony. It goes anywhere for me at least.
5-1:37) Experimental noodling sounds. Electronics. Slide whistle.
*6-4:47) Banjo. VERY slow, almost ambient. Ends with gentle harmony which is both trippy and soothing.
*7-3:14) CSS cover. Warm, slightly wistful electro-dance. 80s feel.
8-3:23) Band Of Horses. Jokey song. Banjo, country acapella feel. Eh.
9-4:55) Atlas Sound - ethereal. Druggily chugs along.
*10-5:50) Straight ahead gentle folk. Very tender. Ends at -2:29. Psychy-surf at -1:25.
11-0:04) Last track is silent. Don't bother.
