A nice mix of Neubauten’s clangy, percussive songs and a lot of straight ahead, introspective almost pop tunes. All sung in German (as you might expect) with the very definitive & fantastic voice of Blixa Bargeld. Rather good.
((((1)))) Slow build, very dramatic feeling, piano and very concentrated vocals. All increasing in loudness as it moves on.
(((((2))))) Very nice piece focused on Blixa’s voice with mellow backing, slowly percolating beat
((((3)))) Clangy percussion ‘ala that mid-period of Neubauten. Very catchy and repetitive.
(((((4)))) Slow guitar strums, very clear vocals. Sounds like a traditional German song made modern. “Heee-Di-di-d-heee-di”
(((5))) Bubbly, slow build up with lots of bass and varations in vocal tone/volume.
((((6)))) Uppity, metallic percussion (literally) and another great vocal performance. Lots of fun!
((((7)))) Moody, floating sounds, sort of “mechanical industrial pop”? Nice.
((((8)))) Slow, wavering, minimal with the focal point at Blixa’s vocals. A good night song.
((((9)))) Bassy, slow, poppy vocal sections, nice string sections.
(((10))) Mellow, acoustic later gets more of that “hardware store” beats and louder sound
