Dense, long-ass jams of heavy, doomy rock/metal with a strong Shellac/Am Rep label vibe. Not suprisingly produced by Steve Albini. Consistently good stuff.
(((1))) One heavy riff played for over 10 minutes, sparse vocals. Like an early unreleased jam by Helmet.
((((2)))) Space-y, spacious bassy, lots of jud-jud and really good drum sound.
((((3))))) Deeper into space and more hard rock guitar riffs/distortion layers then gets really doomy about 4 minutes in and rocks out in the last few.
((((4)))) Machine gun drumming then a steady hard rock vibe with a few slight tempo/riff changes. Vocals come in at the 8:25 mark.
((((5)))) Over a minute of bell chiming then a big stoner rawk/hard rock riff comes in tangled up in wah-wah pedals.
