Typically varied Global Rhythm compilation. Music from all over the map – both literally and musically. Good stuff. From Global Rhythm magazine.
*1. Sweet, relaxed Afro-Reggae w/some good guitar, vox.
2. Mid/upbeat contemporary electronica tango. Very hip.
3. Cool blend of strings, perc. India meets Hawaii. Starts up, changes.
*4. Fabulous upbeat Kora, claps, Malian chorus. Way cool.
5. Breathy downtempo angst-pop.
6. Downtempo Indian electronica chill. Almost new age, but good.
7. Upbeat Afro-Latin dance w/lots of energy & a modern sound.
8. Uptempo jazz for flute, sax, perc. A bit “lite,” but not awfully so.
9. Down & dirty funk jazz w/electronic touches.
*10. Squeaky, quirky klezmer. Starts mid, picks up. Gets jazzy cool.
11. Acoustic pop, wam male vox, guitar. Midtempo.
*12. A nice, mid/upbeat Latin wiggle. Warm & kinda sexy.
13. Bird calls, midtempo blues guitar. Cool fem vox.
14. Relaxed acoustic pop. Guitar, male vox.
