Collection of early releases by underappreciated band whose sound is better today than ever: Creepy, hypnotic (“psyche”?), that borders prog-jazz a lot. All vocals are indiscernible, just another musical instrument so for the most part this is all instrumental.

1) tribal beat, with indiscernible vocals, droney guitars hypnotizing, better than smoking pot
2) a simple organ, with sparse tom hits, and a subtle evolving melody that is really striking, if a tad morose, vocs enter after ~5minutes which change the tone
3) cool reverby guitar mixed in the back makes this, pensive driving beat, just goes on and on until about midway vocals appear and take charge, but cool
4) chill intro with Fender Rhodes of all things, with twang guitar and baseline level of drone, drums enter slowly, distant vocals appear with some cymbals, evolves in a slow almost Zen manner, fantastic
5) slow plod beat that goes through so much, so much, lots of retro organ and Rhodes give brand it “psyche” but theres more to it than that
6) this has an upbeat almost prog feel to it in the triplet beat and drum work with the held organ notes, with “vocs” again
7) same triplet beat as before, pretty much the same song
8) tribal simple beat with searing guitar melody and vocalizations
