Melodic punk/hardcore from San Jose. Slightly rough but very clear vocals and fast-to mid-tempo tunes and lots of catchy choruses. In all, pretty good stuff. Comparable to some old SJ bands like Korrupted Peasant Farmers, early 90’s Bad Religion & maybe even the Dwarves.
((((1)))) Melodic punk, Dwarves-like crossed with anthemic hardcore sound.
((((2))))) (FCC “SHIT” sung once), Fast, catchy, near metal guitar flourishes, cool lyrics: “no one wins a war when bodies rot in morgues”.
(((3))) Kinda messy uptempo melodic hardcore. Pretty typical but OK.
(((4)))) Violin and a folk-punk or even flavor. Bouncy tempo and again very catchy & easy to follow sound.
(((5))) Fast, but generally sloppy punk.
(((((6))))) Nice thick riff & infectious sound.
“When will you realize the people have all gone dead inside?” San Jose in a nutshell.
((7)) Melodic punk ‘ala Rancid or NOFX. Meh.
(((8))) Raw mix, anthemic hardcore thing. Not bad but the vocals are off-putting.
(((9))) Speedy but repetitive and very basic melodic punk/hardcore.
((((10)))) Good uptempo HC ‘ala early 90’s Bad Religion crossed with Dillinger Four?
(((11))) Bare bones punk, silly lyrics.
((((12))))) Pretty rad, anthemic choruses and guitar work. Good lyrics about being glued to the computer screen.
(((13))) Fast, political hardcore, so-so vocals.
((14)) TOO MANY FCCs – AVOID!
((((15))))) Punky/Oi! version of an old Swedish folk song (and also an Asta Kask cover).
