Elecronica dance music with regular pop elements too. Drum machines! (real drums too, esp. on 9.) Piercing high-toned male vocals somewhere between infectious pop and Euro-influenced sternness (the band's from NYC). Lots of synths and synth loops. Bouncy. All tracks basically fast unless otherwise noted.
Female vocals added on 5,11
- Dire minor-key urgency. Gloopy synths, especially in the chorus.
- Tense, urgent, driven.
- Darkly rocking in an '80s way. Catchy but maybe a bit too "MTV"-like (in the 1986 sense).
- *FCC* around -1:00. Stiff mid/fast beat; Spank Rock guest appearance.
- Bright upbeat pop, touch of '70s soul?
- Bright and upbeat. Catchy '80s chorus.
- Stiff beat
- Shuffling triplets beat. Gets disco-bouncy. Has a happy pop song at its core.
- Choppy and rapid, a dire serious sound. Anthemic "Noise won't stop" refrain. An effective song, except for the part where he says "the noise won't stop, like a washing machine."
- Poppy, way upbeat. Basically about sex.
- Springy piano, '80s sounding echo vocal, some sweet-pop elements and girl vocal later. Airy; reminds me a little of April March's "Triggers" album. Um, Italian (?) monologue at the end.
- Pulsing dance music. Chuggy electric-piano intro.
