A typically solid Putumayo compilation, paying tribute to the musical variety of the province. Mostly in French, with a delicious variety of styles. Every track is one-star-worthy.
1. Playful midtempo bounce w/a charming café sound.
2. Midtempo w/a hint of reggae and sweet female vocals.
3. Starts quiet, then a relaxed Euro-pop-soundtrack feeling.
4. Sexy fem vocals in mid/downtempo pop.
5. Mid/upbeat pop w/sweet guitars/fem vocals.
6. Relaxed, blues-influenced First Nations rock/pop. Very cool.
7. Gentle, sex-kitten vocals in lowkey acoustic folk/rock.
8. Deliciously sensual, relaxed bossa nova verson of Henri Salvidor hit.
9. Clarinet/guitar & vocals, lowkey then builds to a crazy circus jam.
10. Toe tapping Quebecois folk. Lively and so catchy.
