Fantastic, strummy, angular, clean chord post-punk. All very infectious and catchy as hell. Features Alan and Allan from Oakland’s Giant Haystacks. Sounds like it would be great live. Very much in the style of Minutemen, The Jam & The Wipers.
((((1)))) (FCC “fuck” sung twice) Uppity, strummy, nice bright chords & big chords.
((((2))))) Stop/starts post-punky and bassy. Lyrics have a funny take on “neo-retro” ideas.
((((((3)))))) Twangy chords with a bit of reverb, nice bass sound, steady and solid pace.
((((((((4)))))))) (FCC “shit” sung once @ 2:23) GREAT, poppy-post-punk number about hating work with a very funny & sarcastic approach.
(((((5)))))) More stop/starts with wild tempo/chord changes then loose, fast punk speed.
