Traditional heavy metal/melodic death metal with modern “extreme metal” vocals (i.e. - not clean sounding but rough with a fairly understandable tone) from Banglore, India. Taking from the more aggressive sides of ‘Priest/’Maiden and also invokes early Dark Tranquility, later Immortal (think “At the Heart of Winter”). Mostly above average and put together well even down to the packaging.
((((1)))) Movie sample (“2001”?), then a galloping build up to a pretty strong mid-paced to fast thrashin’ tune.
((((2)))) Melodic Death Metal with a series of good, catchy riffs & a chorus and mostly good vocals.
(((3))) Another movie sample then big riff with a few basic but nice chord changes. Drumming could be better though.
(((4))) Doomy with a few strides towards traditional metal near the end. Drags on too long, though.
((((5)))) Sample from the game “Primal Rage Vertigo”. Then burly, traditional riffage and commanding vocals. Reminiscent of later Immortal crossed with Dark Tranquility. Rad!
(((6))) Slow with plenty of melodic flourishes, catchy and gets faster & vocal-centered in the 2nd half.
((((7)))) ‘Maiden/Immortal-like right down to the tone structure and vocals. Very catchy but overall a good attempt.
((((8)))) Thrash riffs galore albeit a bit restrained into modern “melo-death” but this is really infectious and would go over really well live.
((((9)))) Instrumental shifting from mellow near classical/ethereal passages.
