Really nice beat chilled out ambience, “post-rock” and beats. Some use of feedback and noisy effect but mostly pretty calm. Not far off from Boards of Canada or Autechre at their mellowest. Overall, a very good album. The kind of thing that works well for studying or just chilling out.
((((1)))) Noisy intro then streamlines into a nice layered piece with a thin layer of distortion.
((((2)))) Floating, introspective, lots of repeating chords and sparse beats.
(((((3)))))) Very chill & pretty with big beats and strummy guitar.
((((4))))) Piano, shimmery guitar stuff, not far off from early 4AD stuff like Cocteau Twins or Dif Juz.
(((((5))))) Water then, slow, widely spaced notes and beats eventually gets a bit louder.
(((((6)))))) Trip-hop/ambience, with xylophone, surface noise. “Typical” sounding in a way but still very easy to get into.
((((7)))) Light percussive tone, piano and a few other layers. Glass-like tones as well in the mix.
(((8))) Movie-soundtrack feeling with a lot of out of place cyclical Asian tones via modern technology.
((((9))) Hazy, minimal but a little TOO repetitive.
(((10))) Samples of kids in a playground, acoustic guitar. Too many loose parts and not a whole.
(((11))) Insectoid electronics, church bell tempo and a few plinky piano parts. Decent but recycles some of the earlier ideas too much.
((((12)))) Focused on big beats & guitar sound, fairly common post-rock sound but pretty infectious.
(((13))) Spacious beats and random electronics and guitar chords moving in & out.
((((14)))) Sparse, cyclical, repeating chords all of which tends to make a good blend of sound.
(((((15))))) Static and slightly distorted guitar and piano wavering to and fro. Nice stuff.
