Typically solid Putumayo compilation featuring stripped-down arrangement and a relaxed vibe. Performances strong throughout and every track is a small delight in its own way. Play it all!
1. Relaxed, fluid, jazzy w/great guitar & male vocals.
2. A touch of café a hint of the desert. Rich fem vox, mid & stylish.
3. Mid/up w/playful sax & great fem vox. A North African sound.
4. Sophisticated instrumental blend of jazz & Arabic folk, mostly mid.
5. Starts slow, picks up into a bluesy/Rai/ midtemo blend.
6. Slow strings into midtempo Parisian/Arabic folk w/fem vox.
7. Delicious guitar, slow, then mid w/light perc & male vocals.
8. Droning flute, then mid/upbeat w/cool perc & male vocals. Cool.
9. Wonderful piano, slow & sophisticated Latin-touched jazz. Yum!
