Excellent pop with folksy bluesy boozy twangy tones, acoustic/traditional instruments give way to onslaughts of fuzz guitar at times. Fans of Violent Femmes, Pavement, T Rex, Neutral Milk Hotel, Slim Cessnas Auto Club, Two Gallants take serious note.
1) upbeat bouncy, starts 100% acoustic but seamlessly crashes into heavy loud band sound, excellent folksy pop, cool noisey end
2) simple acoustic pop, melodic vocal driven
3) dark brooding simple blues with Two Gallants vocals bursts into a driving song with the whole band
4) lo-fi simple twang folk most of the way until the full band joins a way in, swingy, sweet
5) big swaggering swaying twangy, reminiscent of The Faces or Stones or something fun and boozy, druggie references, cool
6) fun, twangy swinging, morose funny words about feeling old (but being probably 25)
7) epic big sound to the low fi garbage can percussion acousticness of this
8) simple singer song with piano, solo
9) epic jangly pop a la T Rex with nice noise out-tro
10) FCCs in intro, past that the music is a big sing along folkie, with only banjo and simple percussion
11) somber simple folky song, ends after ~3 minutes, then 3 minutes of silence and lo and behold, a “hidden track”!, old timey Beatles pop feel in the drum and sway, sweet pure pop that’s one of the better on the cd and worth cue’ing up to
