Solo improv, out there arty. Many tracks not so much music as a demonstration of sounds. Mostly 3 mins or under. A homemade string acoustic instrument that sounds like lots of things, played lots of ways by its inventor- worth reading the liner notes. No vocals.
.Scruffy, scrubbling - word I made up to describe this - like broken tabs of metal being scrubbed with a thick cleaning brush. Bits of rhythm make me think of oompah loompahs, other parts sound like a free jazz bass solo played through a horrible amp.
.Starts like a distant foghorn then cello played with not enough rosin with hints of sitar. Wanders randomly around the scale.
.Introspective plucked & percussive. Mellow.
.Sounds like a tuba, with sitar hints again. A sick tuba, walking wounded. Pretty cool to get that from a string instrument.
.deep growls then scary scraping
.rapid shaking-a-stick-inside-the-body/on-muted-strings sound. Masturbatory.
.bassy and bent, trippy
.Delicate quiet high notes semitone apart
.Nearly melodic fast hammering & plucking
.Another musical one, sounds like a few notes played at an odd interval apart, plucked with a bit of sitar drones.
.tiny noodles
.quiet scrapple
.Lovely but only a few seconds!
.Loud hard scratching, painful, may cause miscarriage
.quiet noodles
.tiny scrapple > breathy > fingerpad plucked > demanding attention
.fast screechy overtones from bowing, some sitar
.a couple bass strings rattle around
