A double re-issue of long out of print “free noise revolution” from New Zealand. Members have connections to Dead C and it shows. Sublime use of noise and layers in hypnotic fashion. All avante, trippy and spacey and downright lush beautiful and narcotic. RIYL AMM, Henry Flynt, Hijokaidan.
Now Gods Stand Up for Bastards (CD 1)
1) a nice treatment feed back, a sublime noise interlude
2) just a beautiful cacophony of lovely noise, droning but exciting
3) long bashout improv noise symposium, drums, the works
4) nice slow feel about the evolution of noise here, goes through this hypnotic pulsing, rhtymic, I like
5) more noise, on a platform of noise, good old school industrial noise as we used to call it
6) long but totally worth it: epic noise, melodic and swirls around synths and sounds and just fires on all the right cylinders.
This is really great stuff!!
The Pholosophick Mercury (CD2)
1) just a long track of disparate noise, samples, tones, vocalizations, good avant stuff
2) live or field recordings with audienc, similar to previous in the approach but harsher, more bashout tones and desperation
