Impressive tech-death metal with actual songs instead of random “Yngwie-gasms”. These Germans take a few pages out of the Atheist, Death and Cynic book(s) by throwing in some nice jazzy bass and odd metered drumming along with the usual death metal brutality for an altogether interesting listen. Features ex-members of Pestilence and Necrophagist who’re pretty tech-y in their own right.

(((((1))))) All over the freakin’ map, jazzy, proggy death metal that’s totally wild but stays a bit grounded more often than not.
(((((2))))) Thick, catchy riffs, very cool proggy bass tones, blast beats and some fairly clear singing.
(((3))) Very busy sound that leaps around between crazy, technical yet melodic death metal. Then again, it’s a bit TOO busy!
(((((4))))) Fast, charging DM with a strong similarity to “Human”-era Death right down to the vocals, more weird bass tones & a nice proggy section.
(((((5)))) Acoustic intro then off-kilter time sigs, mid-paced “proper” prog metal instrumental.
(((6))) So-so, tech-death blasting away in a music school basement.
(((((7)))) Chaos vs. control, fast and odd metered but interestingly unpredictable. Random blasts and flurries and even clean singing.
((((8)))) Slow jagged, build up into blasts and weird vocals that change up depending what verse they’re on. Weird vocoder dropped in the mix. Divebombers and more squiggly guitar.
((((9)))) Speedy, really incredible parts where the bass and guitar follow each other. Vocally it’s more of the same deep growling, but it works.
(((10))) Straight ahead to blasting tech-death. Not bad but kinda typical.
