Really fun jazz version of 60’s & 70s TV theme shows. The arrangements come off somewhat playful at times change the tempo or add or subtract a note here & there. Thankfully through YouTube you can find most if not all of the originals. In all, a nice straight-up piano jazz album.

((((1))))) Way more lively than the somber original. Good use of scales and space in the piano and bass.
(((((2))))) Slightly more ‘down-tempo’ “weeee’ree gonna puuuut on a shoowwwwoooo” Broadway thingy with some mellow drum/bass jams inbetween.
(((((3))))) Star…date…the jazz version….of Star Trek theme…the original. Rather good piano and drumming interplay. No Shatner or transporter required.
(((((4)))) Tonight on a verrry special “Dallas”- J.R. buys a smoky lounge in 1961-Texas was never the same.
(((5))) Bassy, drum brush-laden version of the otherwise drekful tune by Paul Fackin’ Williams. Issac doesn’t give you a bloody mary in this episode but it does have some walk-about, overly long transition pieces.
((6)) “Nun-nunnnaa-nannn. We can rebuild him”…and turn this into a mellow & light as air flashback sequence. Yeesh that bass sounds dead.
(((((7))))) Playful, jazzy (of course), mid-paced version of the original. Very similar to Vincent Guaraldi “Peanuts” music.
(((8))) OK, so Herc now has a dimly lit lounge instead of a mountain to lift boulders from and…he takes up the piano and entertains the ladies?
