Epic cultural mashup party rock from South Africa. So many sounds in each song… from reggae to classic rock to Latin rock to West African guitar picking to Middle Eastern-esque riffs, with occasional hip-hop and soul influences.

1. Baba Maal, Carlos Santana, and a trumpet player from ¡Cubanismo! walk into a bar and proceed to have an impromptu jam sesh. This is the result. [3:46]
2. Classic rock/Beirut/System of a Down/Latin rock/Middle Eastern fiesta. Get it? [5:11]
3. Angsty ballad with haunting piano background. [4:52]
4. Stormy My Morning Jacket-ish rock song. Ends in sonic chaos. [4:08]
5. Rockin’ song. Also, it’s called Taxidermy. Word. [3:48]
6. Soulful extra-terrestrial meditations. Some seriously weird sounds in this track… [7:58]
7. Reggae-esqe with brass, drums, and space-y guitars. Builds to more of a rock sound, with Queens of the Stone Age-esque feel. [4:39]
8. Long instrumental intro, breaks into an emotionally-charged track with atmospheric vocals. End is heavier. [5:19]
9. Sweet African-influenced indie pop-ish track with acoustic guitar and rambling vocals in a language which is not English (Zulu? …hell if I know). Also, he says both “Myspace” and “Facebook” in the song. Oh modernity. [6:32]
