FANTASTIC acoustic guitar instrumentals and occasional vocals & violin. Plus 2 piano pieces. Very structured but also flowing in a way that oddly is similar of Terry Riley’s or Phillip Glass’ “constant motion” pieces. Also this sounds very cinematic and is very much the type of music that makes you ponder things for awhile. Every track is a winner.
(((((1)))))) Continual flow of acoustic guitar and some wordless female vocals that say “ah-ha…and “deeeee-eeeee”. Some really pretty sounding chords, too.
(((((2)))) Slow beginning then a steady flow of bright sounding chords and strums.
((((((3)))))) Mellow, fairly simple piano & violin piece. Violin’s done by Joolie Wood (Current 93 collaborator). Very sad or celebratory depending on how you look at it but an altogether wondrous sound.
(((((4))))) Back to the acoustic guitar and some very interesting 3-4 note patterns. Busy enough to get lost in but not overblown.
(((((5))))) Sad, long piano piece with several “scene changes”. Along with violin, flute & clarinet floating in the background.
