70s infuenced rock from Spain. A bit of a badass attitude here with equal parts Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Fu Manchu, Soundgarden, and AC/DC. Flashy guitar work, fancy use of effects. Lyrics in English with a distinct Spanish accent. The vocals can get a little bit annoying (a la Ronnie James Dio annoying). Also the production quality is a bit too clean for my taste. Overall, however, this is a pretty decent album. You can tell that these guys are huge metal fans and they enjoy what they are doing.
Picks: 7, 8, 5, 9 *** No FCCs ***
1. energetic opener with baby baby vocals and some black magic hidden message... fancy guitars
2. psyche-style guitars give way to a straight up head-nodding rocker
3. starts slow and all rock-ballad Scorpions style, alternating with some heavier bits. every 70s rock album has to have one of these, again pretty flashy guitars
4. more stoner rock attitude with some ballad parts
*5. bombast and bad attitude... pretty rocking! check out the wah wah funky instrumental interlude... nice
6. like aerosmith. this could be a hit song in live 105, sucks...
**7. yeah this one is much more rocking! think of fu manchu. nice start-stop drumming, play this one
**8. again straight up rock, with a nice dual guitar harmonization part like maiden
*9. slower paced, heavier, this one is good too...
