Vampire Weekend/ Contra

Twinkly Indie Rock/Pop. Lots of whimsical lyrics, synths, twinkling sounds, catchy beats and pretty melodies. Several of these sound the same to me, but that might not be a bad thing if you like these doods. Fun album. Danceable, yes. Unique sound, influenced by afrobeats, rhythm experimentation, funk and more.
FCC Clean! Try: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 10

1.* twinkly, whimsical, catchy, upbeat, fun 2. ** electronic, dancey, light, airy 3. pretty, light guitar, catchy, upbeat 4. funky beat, more distorted voice, fluttery sound, faster, scattered 5. ** slower steadier beat, more low-key, cool, nice strings 6. mid-tempo, upbeat, synthy beds, dance beats 7.* way-faster, sporadic, and quirky, bells at end 8. techno jingle-jangle with bompin’ in and out beat 9. synth beat, flutes, keyboard, whispering voices, electronic beat, slower-paced, shakers, turns into a funky, keyboard arrangement with echoing voices, and off-kilter beat 10. ***dream-like beginning, pretty and slower, to keyboards- different sound structure here for them, pretty. seems more acoustic towards end, shakers, rambling guitars-upbeat and relaxed
