Lush, pretty/sugary choral pop with depressing overtones. Lots of acoustic guitar, glock, violin, swells, and sudden drums. Mostly subdued male/fem harmonies, pretty but mostly not inspiring. Like Sufjan, Camera Obscura. FCC CLEAN. Try 3, 13, 16. 1. Mic fuzz, violin, piano. Fuzzy male vox. Slow/tinkly, swelling chords. 2. If Enya did bubblegum pop. 3. Humming up-tempo beginning. Sufjan on crack. Lots of tempo changes. Spare, slow, ending. 4. Looped violin plucking, guitar. Slow choral vocals, very sweet. 5. Electro-guitar, drums, uptempo, choral. Cool build towards the end. 6. Boppy with swelling vocals. 7. Guitar scratches/picking/soft horn. Slow, melancholy vox with violin builds underneath. 8. Acoustic picking, slow male vox. Very pretty, Peter and the Wolf-esque. 9. Glock/electriguitar, poppy. Nice bridge harmony, awesome ambient vox harmonies at the end. 10. Refreshingly spare, begins with acoustic guitar/male vox, then harmonies, piano. Surprisingly loud instrumentation 30 secs before end. 11. Lite choral Irish ballad. Sudden drums in final minute. 12. Fast acoustic guitar, glock. Sudden drums on chorus. Funky instrumental bridge. 13. Funky percussion, piano, glock. Melancholic vox, eventual violin. Nice atmosphere. Eventually builds into epic choral drum violin awesomeness. 14. Woodblock?/Acoustguitar. A little bluesy. Choral at end. 15. Acoustic. Duet! ENDS at 2:58 minutes. 16. Funky sitar thing, acoustguitar. Rainy in the background, pretty male/fem vox. Repeat lyrics, atmospheric.
