Old styled Indie Rock with a strong American/Canadian Post-Punk flavor. Has a real nice “live” feeling to it. As if they’re playing right in front of you & a bunch of tight musicianship. A good mix of Minutemen, Mission of Burma, Superchunk & NoMeansNo.
(((((1))))) Rockin’, odd-metered and strummy & punky.
((((2)))) Lots of stops/starts sounds like it would’ve easily fit on SST, Homestead or Merge in the late 80’s/early 90’s.
(((((3)))) Up tempo & rockin’ with multiple vocals - all easy to follow & infectious.
((((4)))) Mid-paced & twangy, some great bass & drum sounds. Reminds me a lot of Superchunk and the Minutemen.
((((5)))) Mellow instrumental with the “typical” mid-1980’s Indie tone. Done really well.
((((6)))) Big bass, angular structure, very expressive vocals that jump around a lot.
((((7)))) Nice mix of the bass & guitar following along together. Vocals are an aquirred taste but they work well with the constantly moving structure.
(((((8))))) The most straight up punk song here and even with that it’s got a few nods to 80’s & early 90’s Indie Rock (again harkening back to Superchunk).
((((9)))) Rumbly and rocking with a lot interesting layers and circular patterns.
((((10)))) Laid back a bit and resistrained but still pretty much heartfelt.
((((11)))) Murky, mellow, minimal.
((((12)))) 1-2 swingin’ tempo, very catchy and memorable.
