33 RPM - BOTH SIDES
SIDE 1
((((1)))) SMEGMA - Rather good & drum heavy, free-jazz with bursts of horns of various sizes, tones & shapes. Later gets into some squirrel electronic noises mixed with more horns and TV samples then back to noise. These guys have been making and producing music for-ever!
2-6 = KK Rampage
(((2))) Manic weiiiird rock bursts, extremely jagged and just loony. Maybe too loony for its own good.
(((3))) Heavy bass, more of the same pattern as before and clashing cymbals. Very grating vocals though that do a half (really fucking annoying) attempt to go pop.
((4)) Sci-fi goof “free-rock” or whatever. It’s annoying (again) and waste of a good guitar tone.
((((5)))) High pitched chords & a slightly more easy to get into structure. Plus some screechy guitar breaks in the middle.
((6)) Ugh! Quite awful moaning vocals and “twerk-tweak-eep-eep!” guitars.
SIDE 2
1-3 Insect Joy
4 – Ghost Moth
(((1))) Noise & heart beatin’ beat with distorted vocals, feedback and interesting repetition plus odd timed keyboard chords. Later VERY high pitched noise.
(((2))) Completely & utter distorted mess but generally a GOOD mess with rumbling bass and some decent drumming. Drags on a bit, though. More throbby bass & cyclical repetitive noise. Sounds like it’s a locked groove or the record’s stuck or the record’s stuck or the record’s stuck or the record’s stuck…
(((4))) Skin crawling, free noise-jazz-jazz noise freedom – lots of weird overlapping but it works well for what it is but it does get grating if you’re not used to this kinda thing or can tolerate this mess for very long.
((5)) Torrents of overlapping noise, distortion and mangled sax. Enter if you dare, stay if you must or at crazy about this kinda thing.
