super academic, obtuse modern classical long form stream of consciousness improv. relaxing, busy, grating, runs the whole gambit. some pieces were accompanied by a live absurdist painter. oh joy! kind of begs the question, how much of this can you take, chump!?

1- loose, sparse, 40 minute composition of piano, percussion, trombone, violin. disoriented, lost kind of feel. composition for those people who just don't know what the hell to do with themselves. instruments are not offered much room to speak in the beginning, but are gracefully spazzing at ferocious speeds up and down the entire tonal register in the beginning. drums, once lightly tapped, crash furiously as the piece evolves

4-eerie string sprawls, unnerving clackings, ramblings, electronics, hand percussion, bouncy rodent like sounds start this off this piece in its search for existential meaning. feels like falling down over and over in a cartoons closet.
