Fossils and Other Phantoms
British girl folk-punk duet, emphasis on the "folk". Catchy earthy rhythms and soulful melodies mix "brooding anti-folk" with "fiery indie pop". If you like Mumford and Sons, Kate Nash, CocoRosie, and/or Adele, then you'll like these catchy tracks. Start with 2, 3, 10, 9, 4.

2. *** (3:51) Mid-Up beat, traveling through town, foot tappin goodness.
3. *** (3:08) Mid-Slow, Is that a kazoo? I think it is. Beatles went down to Georgia.
4. ** (4:32) Slow, very pretty guitar melody opens this soft emotional track.
