Melodic, driving, modern punky rock. At times redundant but generally well-done & full of spirit. Not far from later Dag Nasty, Moving Targets, Dillinger Four (who like OWTH are from the great music city of Minneapolis).
((((1))))) Great, super-catchy build up & distorted chorus. Very cool bass sound, too.
((((2)))) (TOO MANY FCCs AVOID!)
(((3))) “Typical” melodic punk/dudely rock intro bordering but enough focus to save it from becoming dogshit (see Blink 182, et. al).
(((((4))))) Bassy, shouted call & response. Surprisingly reminded me of Naked Raygun mixed with Husker Du & yes again Dillinger Four.
((((5)))) Melodic, regular rock build up then driving very Americana/Midwest modern punk sound.
((((6)))) Mid-paced but absurdly catchy.
(((((7)))))) Nice bright guitar tone, very punky, pretty fast + to the point.
(((8)))) Mostly good melodic punky rock. Totally nicks the riff of Dillinger Four’s “Smells like OK Soda”.
(((((9)))))) Insanely catchy melodic punk for the now era. Great riffing & bass tone.
((10)) Bleh, mid-paced rock thing with some vague “punk” parts.
(11) Throwaway strummy ballad about being happy with his girl. Chee-zee, dood.
((12)) (FCC “fuck”) Strummy, poppy modern rock with more relationship-y lyrics. Pretty good once it gets going for what it is.
