Punky/new Wave from Kansas City whose vocalist sounds like an odd mix of Wendy O. Williams of the Plasmatics & Kim Carnes. At the best it invokes So. Cal punk from various eras: The Muffs, The Creamers & The Controllers. Credits say recorded/engineered in 1997-1998 – no idea when this was released.
((1)) Useless sample, so-so new-wave rock.
((((2)))) Great riffs, gets right to the point in under a minute.
(((3))) (FCC “fucking” sung twice) Catchy, good drumming & breaks.
((4)) (FCC “fucking” sung once) fast & sloppy punk. Pretty generic.
((5)) (FCC “fucking” sung once) More fast & sloppy punk that’s anti-sex – at least in this tune.
((((6)))) (FCC “Fuck” sung 3 times) Much better, fulla attitude punk at various speeds.
((((7))))) Nice, rippin’ 70’s style punk with good backing vocals.
((((8)))) Good, riffy Plasmatics-like punker.
(((9))) Pretty cool mix with steady speed with multiple call & response vocal parts.
(((10))) Bassy, sharp riffs & catchy vocals.
((11)) WAY TOO MANY FCCs – AVOID!
((((12)))) Big driving riffs moves from Punk to Hardcore pretty easily.
((13)) Basic rock-ish punk.
(((14))) Driving rockin’ punk.
((((15)))) Fast early hardcore with more Plasmatics bits (you can practically sing “Butcher Baby” over the slower parts).
(((16))) Bassy, messy poppy punk. ‘Salright.
((((17)))) Sample of a trash-talk show. Then driving punk with good vocal build up.
((((18)))) The Damned’s “New Rose” with a Muffs-like rockin’ punk style. Cool.
(((19))) Bassy, punk – already did this but it’s OK.
(((20))) Bassy, punk & hardcore mix with “class war” cheerleader chorus.
