This album defies categorization. It is a mish-mash of different influences that might not appeal to everyone. This is what happens
when you get former members of Hare Rama Hare Krishna sect mix up traditional South Asian traditional chanting with modern
trance/electronic music.
Try 5
1. Over an electronic bed & clash of cymbals they sing this traditional Buddhish chant. It is different. Almost trippy.
2. Om Namma Shivaya is a traditional Hindu chanting phrase, but in the hands of Price Rama it's a cross between Gregorian chants & electronic trance music. A little jarring.
3. Lot of good noise if you like loud almost discordant sounding music.
4. Short percussion number with thunder & lightening kind of sounds.
5. Admixture of surf/trance/electronic music.
6. Reminds you of dark haunted caves. Eerie sounding.
7. Kind of a trippy number. Again eerie sounds.
8. The original Raghupati is a beautiful number but in the hands of Prince Rama it assumes a totally different form that might not
appeal to the traditionalists.
