Tango music evokes a myriad of feelings and moods and this selection by Raul Jaurena brilliantly succeeds in doing just that. The accordion adds that ever so slight brooding edge & meaning to Tango.
The album is a combination of instrumental music + vocals.
Pick any track and play.
1. Beautiful, brooding & moving. Lilting piano refrain adds
an upbeat element.
2. Slow & wonderful female solo.
3. Languid & soulful.Listen to the violin as it tugs at your heart strings & then the fluid accordion riffs chime in.
4. Happy, light, uplifting & peppy. You want to give the
tango a whirl yourself..
5. Title song.Slow.(Reminds you of Godfather tune a bit, no?)
6. Female solo. Lots of drama/emotion/color esp with
the rolling “r’s.”
7. Very slow & a bit sad.
8. Slow, thoughtful piece with lilting breaks in-between.
9. Female solo. Slow. Moody?
10. Song puts you through a range of moods from pensive to excitement.
11. Got a bit of verve & pep in this number.
12. Female solo. Passionate & dramatic.
13. Lovely, dreamy tune.
14. Nice finale. Alternately peppy & dramatic.
