paisley underground revival/80's jangle pop.
one of the best albums of 2010.

RIYL: gaud canal, green on red, game theory, et al.
FCC WARNING: 2, 6, 10,
SUGGESTIONS: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 11 (esp. 9&5.)
*1. slow. forlorn strum and voice. organ comes in. vox reminds me of pixies/gaud canal/green on red=very 80's
*2. FCC: 'FUCKIN''. fast. very paisley underground sound. rocks!
sounds a lot like the three o'clock./salvation army.
*3. slow-mid. very jingle jangle, girl groupy. fem vox joins in w/mal= britty vox. (who does this remind me of?...
4. fast&frugging. rave-up. handclaps, organ.
*5. ALMOST BEST TRACK: slow&sweet. sounds like suicide at begin, but it becomes churchy. britty vox.
6. FCC: 'FUCKIN'. mid-fast. jingle jangle. tam. db's fem vox ala tucker joins in.
7. slow. dreary. maudlin. kicks up speed in mid, feedbacky gits.
*8. mid fast. cowboy fruggery. upbeat&bouncy&fun.
*9. BEST TRACK: slow to mid. fem vox kicks in as tempo builds.
and in comes the whole band. total 80's collage radio hit.
