Mostly good L.A. based retro-Thrash Metal EP. Sure, there’s tons of this stuff that’s cropped up in the last 5 years and these kids look like they weren’t even born when Slayer’s Hell Awaits came out. Regardless, this EP has some real power & fierceness behind their tunes. This isn’t 1000 mph Thrash but they do have a go at the ultra-fast on “The Seventh Day”. You’ll dig this if you’re into Dark Angel, Coroner, Deathrow (Germany), & early Testament. Let’s just hope they don’t start playing funk.

(((1))) Typical mellow/mood setting intro then decent build up to some mid-paced, severely Bay Area Thrash worship ‘ala Testament.
((((2)))) Starts off lighting fast then pulls back a bit but still has a ton of heavy riffin’, out of control solos/divebombers. Rips off Slayer’s “Criminal Insane” at 4:37. Points off for the clunky gang chorus.
((((((3)))))) Gallopy, straight-ahead mid-80’s Thrashin’ with a strong Coroner/Dark Angel/Testament mix.
(((((4))))) Kinda technical riffing/intro-solo thing with very strong main riffs into ultra-Thrash that’s between early Dark Angel, savage German steel like Kreator, and even mid-80’s crossover.
